We only care about phones when they shoot great video and the latest device from LG looks like a 4K cracker! The South Korean company has officially joined the 4k video arms race with its new flagship Android smartphone, the LG G Pro 2. LG plans to show off the phone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2014) in Barcelona, Spain. The G Pro 2 smartphone is a successor the LG Optimus G Pro. In additional, it becomes a larger version of the original model.
New LG G Pro 2 phone has a slim bezel 5.9-inch touchscreen IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. As comparison, the Optimus G Pro brings 5.5-inch panel only. It boasts a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and Adreno 330 GPU. In memory term, there are 3GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot for expansion.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and a removable 3,200mAh battery. The rear 13-megapixel OIS+ camera with any 4K or 120 frames per second HD video recording is accompanied by a 2.1MP front-facing version. Alongside LTE / HSPA+ support, the LG G Pro 2 phablet provides Bluetooth 4.0 (Smart Ready), USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and SlimPort.
