Gizmodo have put together a great look at the history of Video in a mini documentary called Untethered: The Birth of Video.
The team hooked up with artist, writer, and professor Tom Sherman to discuss the history of video, and how artists in the late 60s and early 70s were able to harness the technology in a flurry of weird and creative behaviors that still resonate in the millions of internet videos being shared today.
