Olloclip launches 4-In-1 photo lens for iPhone

Olloclip launches 4-In-1 photo lens for iPhone and iPod

Olloclip has unveiled its new attachable 4-in-1 lens that can turn iPhone and iPod into a real camera.

The $69 attachment clips onto your iOS device, allowing you to take photos with 10X or 15X magnification.

Upgraded from the three-in-one lens previously created by the company, the new variant includes dual-sided functionality with a fisheye lens and a 15x macro lens with a 12mm focus distance on one side, and a wide angle lens and a 10x macro lens with an 18mm focus distance on the other side.

The lens works with all apps, including the official Olloclip app in both photo and video mode. Unlike the previous version, the new system is designed with the specific field-of-view, light control, and resolution characteristics of the iPhone 5s camera.

“We wanted to enhance the new features of the iPhone 5s camera, including the five-element lens, autofocus matrix metering and dynamic local tone map that ensures more true-to-life color, while also complementing the iPhone’s aesthetic look,” said Patrick O’Neill, founder and president (CEO) of Olloclip. “We believe we’ve succeeded in creating an elegant, pocket-size product that any iPhone user will be proud of and that any iPhone photographer will be inspired to use to create great art.”
