Felix Baumgartner: New Stratosphere Freefall Video Footage From GoPRO

Just when you thought you’d seen Felix Baumgartner’s legendary skydive from every possible angle, GoPro have released new footage from a Hero2 that was attached to his body.

Felix was armed with a total of 7 GoPros as he became the first person to break the sound barrier outside of a vehicle in a freefall over 24 miles above the Earth’s surface. He maxed out at 843.6 mph before deploying his parachute and landing in New Mexico. While there is plenty of amazing POV footage out there, this new clip is as thrilling as any Hollywood action movie. Check out the breathtaking 8 minute video below:
