Sony announces 4K camcorder that isn't 4K

Questions are being asked about new Sony’s FDR-AX100 ”4K” camera, as it turns out it isn’t true 4K at all. In reality the 790g handheld is churning out UltraHD (3840 x 2160 pixels). Obviously Sony have decided that 4K sounds better. Despite it falling short of true 4K resolution the early reviews are pretty positive regarding it’s image quality.
