It certainly looks like 2014 is stacking up to the become the year of the 4k smart phone. You probably won’t be surprised to hear new rumours that Samsung’s new S5 handset will give users 4K video shooting at their fingertips.
A tip sent to Phone Arena has suggested that the unannounced handset will sport a 20-megapixel camera. It will apparently allow for 4K video-recording and feature image taking during filming. Also expected is an iris sensor that would enable eye-scanning and wide range of health accessories. An announcement on the S5 is expected around March but right now these are all just rumours.
