A prototype ASUS 4K GSYNC monitor has been spotted at CES. For those not familiar with GSYNC, GSYNC is NVIDIA’s proprietary technology that syncs the refresh rate of the GPU with the monitor. Whats the benefit? To make it simple, it reduces tearing to essentially zero and makes gameplay much smooth sue to the fact that the monitor is displays the frame as soon as the GPU is ready.
