OLED TVs work by using a new display technology that is called OLED which is short for Organic Light Emitting Diodes. Samsung is showing its first prototype that allows you to shift from flat screen to a curved set. With the remote control you can change change the angle you want in order to get the best picture quality for your movie. You can improve the viewing angles, or if you want switch it via remote control to a flat screen and you can mount it on your wall. Samsung has filled some patent to introduce this kind of technology in the next few years.

LG says that they are production ready and to bring this kind of technology to the market soon. We are sure that we will not see this kind of new category of Television before 2015.The resolution from the flexible OLED panels are 4K!

OLED TVs do not only produce colors that are natural and brighter but also allow wider viewing angles. Therefore the viewing experiences are enhanced dramatically. Because this display technology naturally refreshes up to a thousand times faster than LCD technology the frames are sharp and each detail pops! The OLED color gamut can exceed NTSC standards. Last but not least absolutely noteworthy are the viewing angle of almost 180 degree and an inherent contrast ratio that is bigger than 1.000.000:1.
