Chinese camera maker Kinefinity have just announced two very exciting new cameras, the KineMAX 6K camera and the KineMINI 4K.
The Kinefinity KineMINI comes in four versions and starts at US$2,900 for a basic model and goes all the way up to US$5,200 for the premium version. The KineMINI will do 1080p 100fps, 2K 96fps, 4k 30FPS CinemaDNG RAW… But high speed and 4K are add on extras reserved for the high end models.
In Summary:
- KineMINI: Max 1080p@100FPS / 2K@96FPS / 4K@30FPS with new added SDI for monitoring;
- KineMAX: Max 6K@30FPS(?) (only 4K@50FPS available now) with alleged dynamic range greater than 14 stops;
- Product upgrading: 4K and high speed mode upgrading available for previous KineRAW-Mini and KineRAW-S35
Time of delivery: April 2014 for kineMINI and May 2014 for kineMAX. Price is currently TBC
