These new pictures of the digital 8mm Bellami HD-1 do a great job of showing off just how tiny this camera is. Perform Video spotted these images over on the Superheadz website where the camera is due to go on sale soon, with some degree of support for D mount, with C, CS, and M42 mounts using adapters.
The Bellami HD-1 is a Pistol Grip digital version of a classic 8mm camera and right now details are very thin on the ground as to it’s full spec. Rumours suggest that it will go on sale for around $830, putting it in competition (at least price wise) with the Blackmagic Pocket Camera. Recently we saw Digital Bolex successfully bring back the 16mm retro camera, we’ll be watching the Bellami HD-1 closely to see how things develop.
